JOB DESCRIPTION

Tasks of the Crisis Management Analyst or Officer

  1. Facilitates risk assessments to evaluate potential threats to business viability and associated risks, and reports to management
  2. Creates and maintains business continuity plans
  3. Works with other business groups during incidents
  4. Acts as a vital member of Crisis Management Team and assists with incident response by following the internal plans, policies, and procedures
  5. Conducts business impact analyses to identify time-sensitive business units/processes; can understand analysis and results to create and deliver management reports to key stakeholders
  6. Assist with building the CM program, using industry best practices for crisis/incident management
  7. Documents procedures, training materials, and policies, as assigned
  8. Assists in preparation for audit events
  9. Develops mission critical strategies for crisis and incident management

QUALIFICATIONS

Crisis Management Analyst or Officer

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Banking experience a plus but not required
  3. Established proficiency in following instructions, problem solving, proof reading, quality assurance, analytical skills, and MS Office (Visio, Word, Excel, Project)
  4. BC-DR Certification is strongly desired (ABCP, CFCP, CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, AMBCI, SBCI, MBCI, and/or DRCE)
  5. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Business Continuity and/or related area
  6. Crisis Management experience required
  7. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; this will be assessed during the interview process
