JOB DESCRIPTION

You will support the operations team to ensure that safety standards are met when it comes to work practices, hazardous area, confined space and hot work clearances,  incident reporting and investigation.  Help ensure the compliance of all employees and contractors with OH&S standards and procedures. 

You will work closely with engineers, other managers, operators, contractors,  maintenance personnel and regulatory bodies whilst taking a hands on approach conducting audits, safety and environment reviews and investigations; helping conducting site inductions, tool box meetings, providing training and mentoring of personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a professional HSE Manager with operational experience in the chemical, petrochemical or oil & gas industries.  This role may also suit a HSE Coordinator or Business Partner looking for their next career step

 Ideally you are degree qualified and may have completed postgraduate qualifications in an OH&S related discipline – essentially you can point to strong achievements in operational environmental and safety performance which involve the management of diverse stakeholders.
