Great opportunity to work in downtown Chicago and play a pivatol role in this chemicals manufacturing company's company wide  continuous improvement stradegy



This person will work in the North American headquarters of this $1B manufacturing business unit. The overall company is a $10B manufacturer with facilities around the world. This person will head up the lean six sigma organization and will assist in the development and deployment of Continuous Improvement strategy, partnering with key business stakeholders and leader to identify CI deployment opportunities and to standardize and simplify processes. This person will also play a major role in MBB and BB certification programming within the organization and will serve as an expert within the organization, helping to facilitate problem-solving through statistical analysis. The parent company is a globally-recognized leader in their market with their products being #1 or #2 in 80% of the markets they are in. Relocation assistance is available for this role and significant travel will be required, at times, in the execution of this role’s responsibilities. This company has a truly excellent benefits package and the bonus target for this role is 30%. Company car or car allowance provided.



Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a B.S. degree in an Engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc)
  • 15+ years of experience is required, and potential candidates for this role will have had multi-site responsibility and preferably some International experience as well
  • MUST be a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB)
  • Must have a track record of developing and deploying continuous improvement initiative across larger organizations
  • Must possess strong leadership and communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel for this job as required – will be variable
