You will begin working with our client’s team including the owner of the company. You’ll be assigned with a senior member who will mentor you and explain what things you need to know about working with the company. As an experienced Bookkeeper you will be expected to hit the ground running...and we encourage you to bring energy and enthusiasm!
We are looking for a bookkeeper that can:
Walk in to a business, analyze the bookkeeping mess left by an inadequate bookkeeper
Clean up the file
Set up an efficient system
Oversee the work
5 years’ bookkeeping experience
Experience with Esilaw 360 is an asset
A superior understanding of accounting, year-end processes and reporting, file rebuilds, etc.
Reliable transportation as you will be required to work with clients off-site
Must be a self-starter and comfortable meeting with clients
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Must be adaptable, organized and detail oriented
Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Windows) with excellent computer and keyboard skills
Must be a power user in QuickBooks, Sage 50 and one other accounting program
