JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to set expectations, oversee and mentor employees.

  • Supports training and development initiatives for the crew and department.
  • Collaborates and knowledge shares with other departments to ensure success of operational goals.
  • Strives for continuous improvement, recognizes opportunities to minimize and eliminate waste.
  • Acquires and shares knowledge of applicable standards, policies, and procedures in areas of EHS
  • Drives a safety-focused culture, regularly engages in and encourages safety participation.
  • Possesses a passion for identifying and mitigating critical hazards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications: 

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years engineering experience in Power and/or Utilities 
  • Prior experience with Kraft recovery liquor cycle is a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrated supervisory/leadership capability preferred

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
