Global Account Manager (Automotive Sector)  - Southern Germany

**Fluent German and good level of English required

My client, a global ERP software vendor, is looking for a Global Account Manager to grow the business in Germany, ideally based in Munich or the South of Germany.

93 of 100 top-selling cars in the World are enabled by this vendor.  They have automotive customers in 60 Countries, who generate $4.5 Trillion in Annual Revenue.

This vendor has recently completed a cloud roll-out in 18 months which would have taken the market leader 7 years to complete.

We are looking for a 'Challenger-style' sales person who can manage global accounts and close large, new business deals too.

You will positively impact the Vendor's business metrics including (but not limited to) business growth attainment, shorter business cycles, bigger business sizes, new account acquisition, etc. through knowledge, team-work and programmatic engagement.

The global sales people work with Sales Management, Regional Marketing and Vertical Marketing Leadership to define and achieve strategic goals. This will involve working with field marketing to build campaigns, tailoring business assets and tools to the needs of the market segment.  You will also provide sales teams the support they need for customers and work with the wider Sales Success team to implement programs that drive further growth.

What you’ll do:

?      Prospect, identify, develop, negotiate and, ultimately, close new enterprise accounts by uncovering opportunities from both new leads and existing active customers

?      Develop and manage pipeline to meet or exceed target

?      Lead the sales process from qualifying to closing

?      Maintain laser focus on target and named account acquisition

?      Ensure that metrics are at all times updated with the most recent accurate forecasts, latest activities and next steps

?      Understand the business landscape and be able to  build differentiators into the recommendations

?      Present effectively to external customers across all levels from marketing staff to C-suite executives

?      Thrive working in a fast pace and intense sales environment

?      Effectively organize various internal and external teams to work together to drive deals through complex sales cycles


We are looking for 'Challenger' sales people - with a mindset of teach, tailor and control.

What you’ll need

?      A self-motivated overachiever attitude that enjoys developing and closing opportunities by leveraging relationships and challenging the status quo. 

?      4-5 years of on-quota, B2B SaaS sales experience

?      Deep understanding of marketing and customer acquisition processes

?      Experience selling into in one of our dedicated segments: Automotive, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, High Tech, Industrial and Life Sciences. 

?      Stellar written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clear, persuasive proposals, emails and presentations.

?      Enjoy working in a collaboratively competitive environment. Driving continuous improvement in the team and wider sales function while achieving your own goals.
