The Inside Sales Representative – Big Iron (System z - IBM mainframe) - will play an important role within the Sales organization to help drive mainframe sales in the Americas. This position requires regular contact (telephone/email) with customers and prospects, and is based in our HQ office in Pearl River, NY. This position is a challenging and highly-visible role and will report to Director of Sales - Americas.
Responsibilities:
· Drive lead generation, CRM best practices, partner and marketing coordination
· Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to maximize new mainframe sales opportunities
· Leverage marketing and partner resources as well as work existing account base to identify new sales opportunities
· Prospect and identify new business opportunities
· Support the Account Executives by developing a contact strategy for key accounts, partner ISR/reps, updating CRM, completing deal registrations where applicable, and other activities critical to the success of the Account Executive
· Drive new sales and pipeline through customer focused activities
