Are you a seasoned Senior Accountant that likes variety and change?

For over 40 years, our Client has been recognized as a prominent manufacturing firm in southwest Saskatchewan. With multiple divisions, they seek a confident Senior Accountant to assume responsibility of Controller for their 'Holdco'. If you are able to see concepts and recognize how to apply them to a variety of different areas in a manufacturing setting, we encourage you to apply.
This position requires the ability to analyze inventory variances for required account adjustments, regulatory management of the MRP system in coordination with inventory adjustments and requirements and communicating such inventory information accurately and efficiently to each Production Manager and Supervisor. The Controller will perform/oversee cost analyses, tax implication estimates, and cost-benefit calculations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing annual operating and capital budgets for all entities and assisting other division Controllers in various other areas, as required.
Preference will be given to applicants with an accounting designation. Manufacturing business experience with a thorough understanding of cost-accounting and inventory principles is preferred.
