Come join one of the nation’s fastest growing Chemical Manufacturers.  Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide engineering and engineering support of ongoing and new operations to include specifications, design, installation and troubleshooting of electrical and instrument components, equipment and systems.  You will also lead and execute capital projects in support of electrical facility maintenance.


The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, specifying, installing, and troubleshooting electrical equipment, facilities, and systems for use in the plant.  This will include the monitoring and troubleshooting industrial instrumentation and controls systems for new and existing plant uses.  This position will also direct engineering, maintenance, and construction personnel in the fabrication, installation, start-up, and operations of electrical and controls systems.  You will prepare Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR’s) in support of electrical facility Management.  The Senior Engineer will assure completion of electrical projects within cost, schedule, and performance goals by directing and coordinating design and construction activities.  Other duties will include directing and coordinating operation to ensure manufacturing, construction and installation requirements are conformed to functional specifications and codes.  You will also be responsible for coordinating maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems.


  1. BS degree in  Electrical Engineering
  2. Five or more years of  related work experience in a Chemical or Process Manufacturing Environment
  3. Experience with Electrical Controls and Instrumentation equipment and systems
  4. Must be able to meet physical requirements such as climbing stairs, ladders and pass fit test for full or half face respirators
  5. Ability to apply good mathematical concepts and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
  6. Experience with troubleshooting and installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems
  7. Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
