Essential Duties:
Serves as Information Technology (IT) lead and main point of contact for Meaningful Use EHR Incentive Payment Program (EP) and Dragon Voice Recognition Dictation for the organization
Ensures the development of the appropriate strategies, plans, tools and approaches to ensure successful implementation and maintains all required audit information (MU).
Participates in the development of various tools and documentation from an operational and clinical perspective to ensure compliance with HITECH
Assists in the creation of Meaningful Use/Dragon implementation toolkits for deployment across the enterprise in collaboration with the various project team members
Collaborates with clinical, quality and IT departments and vendors to ensure there are defined requirements and CEHRT applications that are in compliance with the HITECH Act
Manages audit materials to support MU attestation verification. Participates in audits and leads Information Technology portion of any internal or external audit request.
Requirements:
2 to 3 years of EPIC Ambulatory experience
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
EpicCare Ambulatory certified
Previous experience working with EP Meaningful Use; familiarity with EHR incentive program
