A German based major power tool manufacturer is looking for a Manager of Marketing, and Promotions for their American HQ.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Promotion & Programs Manager works closely with the Sales, Marketing and Product Management team to develop and advocate programs, ultimately aiming at increasing sales of our client's products.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Product Content: creates action images and videos of products to support promotional and display efforts (supported by the team in Germany).
• Promotions: creates impactful quarterly promotions to boost sell-in of products in all categories.
• National Account support: coordinates promotions with National Accounts. Works with the E-comm Manager to develop programs and promotions specifically targeted at online retailers.
• Creates and manages a calendar of promotional activities with National Accounts and follows-up with each Account Manager to ensure proper utilization of marketing programs (ad placements, e-blasts, etc).
• Oversees use of Co-Op marketing funds to support sell-through opportunities with our Premium customers.
• With the support of the Marketing Director, develops annual distribution programs and tracks their efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
• Deep understanding of industrial distribution
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to take initiatives, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to completion 
• Proactive identification and improvement of work processes
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills (project management)
• B.Sc. Degree in marketing or engineering preferred.
• Powertool experience preferred

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Product Management, Marketing Team, Sales (Regional Managers, National Account Managers)
External: Distributors, End-users

OTHER:
Some domestic travel is to be expected (15-25%).

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
