Our client is a growing, well-established specialty chemical manufacturer supplying chemical products to a number of industries globally. They are now seeking a high performer to grow their sales throughout the Americas.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a talented Business Development or Sales Manager with a Chemical or Technical background who is looking for the next step? Our client is a growing, well-established specialty chemical manufacturer supplying chemical products to a number of industries globally. They are now seeking a high performer to grow their sales throughout the Americas.

The role will involve a reasonable amount of domestic travel and international travel to South America and the UK.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role is responsible for:

• Managing existing business in North America and the UK;
• Developing new business throughout North and South America and the UK;
• Working closely with Distributor sales teams providing joint visitation and product training;
• Produce action plans to address challenges around competitiveness, portfolio, and pricing.

The successful candidate will require:

• Account Management, Business Development or Product Management experience from the chemical or chemically related fields;
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation;
• Relevant tertiary qualifications;
• International marketing/selling experience will be highly regarded;
• Availability to travel internationally on a semi-regular basis;
