Growing wind energy company selling wind turbines to large farming livestock and food processing companies. Employer is looking for proven Sales Representative with a book of business to bring with them.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a wind energy company who is seeking an energetic, self motivated Sales Representative to be part of a team charged to manage the complete sales opportunity lifecycle: lead generation, customer engagement, relationship management, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.  Will be responsible for calling on large farming, and livestock operations, along with any manufacturing or processing operations related to the ag industry.  Consultants are given the support they need by partnering with the inside sales and marketing teams to create targeted sales plans focused on identifying new opportunities and strengthening rapport with key existing customers.  Must have proven oral and interpersonal skills and the willingness to travel across the territory.  Must be computer literate and knowledgeable of all Microsoft Office applications and a CRM.  Must have strong closing skills.  Prior attendance at formal sales training courses is a plus.  

QUALIFICATIONS

-A hunter mentality- the high level of motivation, autonomy, and discipline developed in previous agricultural sales leadership roles.

-A robust network of contacts in the Kansas/Colorado/Great Plains agricultural community from which to assist in developing new business.

-Proven oral and interpersonal skills.

-The willingness to travel across the territory

-Strong closing skills (prior attendance at formal sales training courses is a plus).

-Computer literacy and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and a CRM.
