JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Epic leadership in managing the scope, cost, schedule, quality, and success of the broader Epic project.
  • Abilities to provide clinical subject matter expertise to translate user requirements into actionable project tasks, duties and responsibilities and abilities to integrate technology with nursing, clinical and provider requirements.
  • Abilities to investigate and recommend custom application requirements including screen design, report specifications, dictionary maintenance, and security requirements and completing workflow review and recommend application workflow processes based on previous experience.
  • Actively work on all aspects of project post implementation.
  • Be accountable for leading collaborative efforts with Epic and other members of the project team.
  • Communicate appropriately with other team Leaders with regard to shared work and dependencies across multiple groups.
  • Provide oversight for issue resolution within and across teams and escalate as appropriate.
  • Provide direction to the team to establish priorities in accordance with operational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the technical teams to coordinate software updates and changes.
  • Ensure that all new releases and enhancements are thoroughly reviewed and tested.
  • Proactively research new functionality to guide whether or how it should be used.
  • Ensure that data interfacing into and out of Epic meets business needs.
  • Provide on-site support for future go-lives and system upgrades.
  • Assist with all Quality Assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • 8 plus years of EPIC Ambulatory experience

  • Post Implementation, project management experience in epic is required

  •  Must have proven ability to work with nursing, clinical providers, and business professionals.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

  • EpicCare Ambulatory certified

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Master’s degree preferred.
