JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for an experienced Epic Resolute contractor with the following skills and background to participate in the analysis, testing, and implementation of editing and automation of technical and professional revenue within Epic's Resolute Hospital Billing and Professional Billing for a Community Connect Single Billing Office implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and Professional Billing system changes to support a successful Community Connect implementation with the least amount of revenue impact possible on very aggressive timeline.
  • Provide expertise and consultation to Project Teams and hosted affiliate for Epic Resolute implementation, optimization and support. Areas of focus may include:
  1. * HB and PB Contract Management
  2. * Resolute Security workflows and configuration
  3. * HB and PB Remittance
  4. * HB and PB Claims
  5. * Payment posting, Refunds, Denials and Cash Management
  6. * Epic Single Billing Office implementation, focusing on self-pay (statements, detailed bill, receipts, letters, Follow-Up, MyChart bill payment). Customer service, and bad debt workflows and configuration.
  7. * Patient Estimates
  •  Participate or lead meetings with stakeholders from finance, clinical, billing office, information systems, and operational departments. Clearly document main points, issues and key decisions.
  • Execute and validate technical plan and application build with key stakeholders and project team members.
  •  Develop understanding of current system build, configuration and workflows to assist with system impact assessment, design and development.
  •  Ensure test scenarios are adequately documented and perform testing as needed, support development of training content and guidelines for supporting teams and staff.
  • Assist with documentation of support, maintenance and monitoring processes for ensuring business continuity and early identification of potential issues.
  •  Provide documentation and training to transfer knowledge and operational support to the Epic Project Team and Production Operations/Support staff.

Requirements

  •  HB Admin
  • Full implementation experience
  • Lead experience
  •  Epic certification in Hospital Billing (HB) - REQUIRED
  • Epic certification in Hospital Billing Claims - REQUIRED
  • Additional Epic Certification in Professional Billing - A PLUS
  • 3 plus years of Build and Test experience in the Epic Hospital Billing module required.
  • Solid understanding of revenue cycle management, Hospital Billing environment & operations and experience with Hospital billing & claims operations
  • Experience with Hospital billing applications and billing system implementations

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
