JOB DESCRIPTION

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Progressive Agronomy Organization seeking recent Midwestern college graduates to train into Fertilizer Merchandisers. Ideal individuals will have a 2- or 4-year college degree in Agronomy or other Ag-related program, have a good understanding of Midwestern crops and crop inputs including dry fertilizer and have an outgoing, sales-type personality. Individual will be required to relocate to New York State initially to be trained in all aspects of fertilizer production, sales and merchandising. Employer will assist with relocation. Will report to General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

- AS or BS Agronomy or other Ag-Related degree
- Midwestern Ag background/upbringing
- Basic Agronomy knowledge including knowledge of dry fertilizer (NPK)
- Outgoing personality with attributes of a good salesperson including strong communication, organization, negotiation skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to direct self including time management and prioritization skills
- Good grasp of U.S. geography and good math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to relocate to New York for training;, based on individual, could last 12 - 36 months

Education:
University - Associate's Degree/Graduate Diploma/2 Years
