JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Healthcare Recruiter, will report to the Director of HR/Site Administrator and will be responsible for the following job functions:

  • Utilize a variety of cost efficient sourcing techniques to recruit high quality candidates.
  • Lead the implementation of improved sourcing strategies, HR metrics and ATS utilization. 
  • Serve as the primary resource for the utilization of enhanced sourcing strategies.
  • Lead improvements in work flow, efficiency and productivity within the HR and Nurse Recruitment departments.
  • Function as the HR partner for identified departments including recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations and retention.
  • Serves as an ambassador for the health system through new hire support, employee relations and exit interview interactions and by attending local primary & secondary school career functions and other community functions.
  • Collaborates with their department partners to identify opportunities for improvements in the environment, anticipating recruitment and retention needs and supporting the health system's vision to "Be the best" 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:  

  • Demonstrated passion for recruitment and a proven track record working in a high volume hiring environment that has high performing Recruitment and Talent Acquisition functions and processes.  
  • Minimum 3 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience.  
  • Extensive experience utilizing a variety of successful recruitment sourcing methods, including but not limited to cold calling, networking, Boolean search strings, goggle searches, niche site searches, etc. 
  • Experience in integrating social media and digital marketing based sourcing initiatives.  
  • High level of proficiency and experience utilizing and optimizing ATS, excel and HRIS systems. 
  • Experience successfully leading and implementing process improvement initiatives.  
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communications skills.  
  • Must be Flexible with the work schedule/hours based on sourcing needs. 
  • History of positive Customer Satisfaction and Candidate Experience Outcomes.  
  • Has a working knowledge of NYS and Federal employment related laws and regulations.

Preferred:

  • Prior healthcare experience
  • Experience in a lead recruiter capacity.
