JOB DESCRIPTION

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Central Nebraska Ag Employer seeking an experienced Counter Ag Parts Person. Individual must be able to effectively communicate and generate customer goodwill by their ability to be a good listener and carry on conversations. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of Ag Parts merchandising and suggestive selling methods and be customer-focused making sure customers are waited on promptly and their requests are filled without delay. Primary job responsibility will be to promote the sale of Ag Parts to customers and provide superior customer service, both over the phone and in person.  Other duties to include:
- Preparing sales documents
- Notifying customers immediately when parts are in-house and answering incoming calls as necessary
- Inspecting and processing re-stocks and warranty parts
- Performing all labor and parts extensions on work orders as they are closed
- Verifying shipments, assisting with loading and unloading of parts and stocking incoming parts
- Assisting with inventory control and organization and performing cycle inventory counts
- Maintaining the stock display and special promotional display areas including performing general housekeeping duties
- Making hydraulic hoses, chains and filling batteries as needed
- Any other duties as assigned by Ag Parts Manager

This Counter Ag Parts Person will report directly to the Ag Parts Manager.  THIS EMPLOYER OFFERS COMPETITIVE HOURLY WAGE PLUS OVERTIME PLUS EXTREMELY GOOD BENEFITS PACKAGE.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Ag background with previous Ag Parts experience, preferably through an equipment dealership
- Good customer relationship and service skills
- Good knowledge of Ag Parts merchandising with ability to up-sell
- Strong communication skills, both personally and over the phone, with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to operate a forklift safely or have ability to become forklift-certified
- Ability to work some partial Saturdays and extended hours during busy planting and harvesting seasons
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
