The Position

The Quality Manager ensures compliance and manages the BIQ (Built-In-Quality) Program, as well as all relevant quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices, to assure continuous conformance to appropriate customer standards and regulations involved in the manufacturing process.


  • Manage and ensure compliance of BIQ Program and all related processes.
  • Formulates and maintains quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. Interprets quality philosophy to key personnel in organization.
  • Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
  • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
  • Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
  • Decides whether to accept a product or continue business with a vendor based on a review by the quality assurance engineer.
  • Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
  • Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
  • Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.



  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Quality Control, Business Management, Lean Manufacturing)
  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in a Management Role or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Strong proficiency in advanced data functions in Excel is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in use of relationship databases, including advanced query and report writing. Understanding of data integration; Practice in the development and day-to-day support of vendor interfaces, with experience in both HCM data/file-based loaders and HCM data extracts.
  • A favorable background screening, Drug Screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.
