Our client is a leading national manufacturer and supplier of warehouse and office storage equipment. They are an award-winning organisation specialising in manufacturing, installing and servicing of a wide range of storage products for an ever-increasing client base.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure compliance of HSEQ standards such as AS4801, ISO45001:2018, ISO14001:2015 & ISO9001:2015
  • Responsible for providing all department managers and supervisors with appropriate HSEQ documentation and procedures
  • Responsible for auditing, monitoring and reporting of HSEQ KPI's
  • Responsible assisting in the continuous improvement of HSEQ issues within the group
  • Responsible for ensuring the Safety Committee functions according to regulations and management requirements
  • Improve and adapt risk management, compliance strategies and policies, provide SWMS
  • Conduct internal and external Safety audits including site audits with internal installers and subcontractors
  • Conduct incident/accident investigations and implement actions
  • Maintain Hazard and Risk data base, including Customer and Supplier Risk Management and Compliance
  • Support, promote and implement HSEQ plans and procedures
  • Coordinate Emergency response teams
  • Maintenance and implementation of the HSEQ management system
  • Workers Compensation management
  • Safety Inspections, Incident Investigations and Chair Toolbox Safety Meetings
  • Work with clients, supervisors and HSE/OHS representatives on issues in the workplace
  • Play an active part in the company's OHS management


What you’ll need:

  • 2 yrs+ practical experience in a similar work environment
  • Hold at a minimum a Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Able to self-manage and perform their duties autonomously
  • Loyal and trustworthy (confidential)
  • Positive demeanour
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively to various groups of people
  • Experience and demonstrated capability of leading and providing broad ranging specialist HSEQ services
  • Experience influencing HSEQ strategies, plans, programs, systems, and cultural change initiatives
  • Ability to interpret, apply and comment on complex legislation
  • Organisational skills, ability to multi-task and work to a deadline
  • Engaging with clients and employees ensuring understanding and compliance for OSH Regulations, Acts and Workers Compensations legislations
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills and computer literacy
