Title- Epic Ambulatory Meaningful Use Analyst
Employment Type- Contract
Duration - 6 months
No remote. Candidate needs to be on site for the duration of the assignment.
Location Portland, OR
Participation in all phases of the system development life cycle including development of use cases and evaluation of software solutions
· Research to develop, configure and modify moderately complex information systems
· Create documentation of business requirements, current and future state workflows
· Designs, codes/configures, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains programs/applications
· Coordinate all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades
· Support existing functionality with further expansion to additional ambulatory offices
· Develop strong relationships with end user communities, customers and business partners

· Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)
Qualified candidate will be a member of the Ambulatory Support and Optimization team with the following specialized skills being sought:
· Minimum 2-3 years work experience in Information Technology required
· Demonstrated experience with Epic Ambulatory (EpicCare) EMR software preferred
· Basic understanding of physician office operations, clinical workflows and terminology preferred
· Strong understanding of healthcare business process and technology preferred
· Working knowledge of health care incentive programs such as Meaningful Use a plus
· Healthcare IT experience in acute care or ambulatory care settings a plus
· Prior experience with other Epic applications/modules a plus
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related field
