The ideal Product Engineer will enhance the manufacturing process as they work hand in hand with external customers to include blueprints and customer specifications to ensure the company strategic goals are not only met but also exceeded.
The ideal Product Engineer will have strong troubleshooting experience with any and all of the problems that pop up during the manufacturing process of the Industrial Gas Turbines to include blades and vanes.
The Engineer will also provide technical expertise to support the timely production of investment castings as well as the highest quality product for the customer.
The Product Engineer will have a steady diet of customer interaction to develop new products, and support general customer program requirements.
The Engineer will use their Investment Casting expertise to identify needs and goals for a new product, from function to aesthetics.
The Product Engineer will rely on their Industrial Gas Turbine Engine experience to lead development projects and deliver on time.
The Product Engineer will review all customer specifications and blueprints to determine the procedures, testing, and routing sequences required to meet the dimensional requirements.
The ideal Product Engineer will use their Industrial Gas Turbine experiences to assist with process knowledge, basic engineering principles, previous experience, and creativity as necessary to develop processes that result in the production of quality castings that conform to customer specifications and timetables.
The Product Engineer will develop new technology to support plant initiatives dealing with investment castings of blades and vanes for the turbines.
You will also be charged with reviewing all layouts, tool reworks and tool construction as necessary to ensure consistency and repeatability of process results.
4 Year Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields of experience.
The Product Engineer will have at least 5 years experience aerospace investment casting.
Experience in the Industrial Gas Turbine industry specifically dealing with vanes and blades and similar parts
History of success with part development and delivering projects on time.
