JOB DESCRIPTION

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Toledo OH

Base +Commission, depending on experience

 

The Sales Representative will have a hunter mentality and ability to handle a large customer list.  You will build relationships to meet and satisfy customers’ needs while maintaining financially profitable sales. Compensation is base pay plus commission in addition you will be provided with all the necessary tools a sales representative will need.  Only candidates living in the areas listed will be considered, there is no relocation available.

 

The Sales Representative will prospect the local market, present solutions, manage customer relationships and coordinate with other staff as necessary to complete sales. He/She will have excellent customer service skills, be a self-starter and results oriented.

 

DUTIES

• New business development
• Manage assigned accounts
• Follow-up with customers who expressed interest in product offerings
• Generate price quotes after meeting with customers to meet their expectations and quality standards Bid jobs for customers when appropriate
• Negotiate prices with customers for high volume account activity

              

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma
• 2 Years of proven outside sales experience
• Ability to meet or exceed sales quotas at an acceptable profit-margin
• Effective sales, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Maintain professional image as a representative of the company
• Available and able to travel frequently
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, including using a calculator
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as margins, discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
