Title: Epic Reporting and Analytics – Senior BI Consultant, Ambulatory/Clinical Operations, Crystal, (& possibly Tableau)

Employment Type: Contract

Start Date:  ASAP

Duration: 6 months- Likely extendable

Location: Northern California 

On-Site Work only (no remote). Prefer M-F (local) but ok with M-Th if traveling.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Development: Strong MS SQLServer SQL, SAP/BOE Crystal Reports, Epic-Crystal integration (ECI), Epic Clarity Data Model (EpicCare Ambulatory), Epic certification or proven equivalent experience

Consultancy:

• Advanced consultant communication skills and Software Development Life Cycle discipline: gathering & documenting and confirming requirements gathering, designing solution, obtaining SME signoff, coding, testing/validation, UAT, signoff & documentation
• Ability to coalesce related requests and offer solutions that satisfy multiple requirements
• Estimates work and reports time against estimates
• Provides weekly “Issue/Risk/Accomplishment/Plans” Status Reports for assigned work; identifies problems and issues and recommends solutions
•  Presents to leaders

Mentorship and instilling best practice:  ability to transition work, train, and provide mentorship to junior developers on best practices, perform SQL code reviews, and peer reviews of deliverables

Desired Skills:

• Tableau Visualization (Developer and Tableau Server), Caboodle, addl Epic Data Models or Applications (Practice Management, Tapestry Referrals, Grand Central, and Ancillary Services, infection management, OpTime, Radiant, Wisdom, Kaleidoscope); RWB, RADAR

Education:

BA/BS required or equivalent work experience.
