German based company with North American sales and engineering in Michigan with global manufacturing. They are adding two Account Managers with strong Ford experience to their team as they are booking business like crazy and growing globally. They hired one of our candidates and now they are looking for one more.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Will work with the Ford team on all product platforms (powertrain, interior trim, exterior trim). Responsible for new business development and managing relationship with the customer, Ford. Work internally with product and business functions to develop strategies and targets for program successes.  Advocate for the customer internally to ensure that products and services consistently meet customer needs.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have:

  • Experience working with plastic products and systems for interior and exterior trim products and/or powertrain
  • Ford customer experience
  • Commercial / Account Management - Strong background in account management and sales to Ford, with broad knowledge of their business processes and tools.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, results-oriented attitude
  • Four year degree with a preference for engineering
  • Experience with injection molding manufacturing
  • Ability to work in their Metro Detroit office 2-3 days per week and in Dearborn at Ford 2-3 days per week

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
