Superlative candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to be accountable for interpreting, analyzing and making recommendations on loan credit to safeguard loans booked are solid and well performing. Reviews loan documentation to determine compliance with company credit policy and SBA standard operating procedures.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Requirements:
Requires skills & experience in applicant interviewing, loan structuring, credit analysis and monitoring credit performance.
Accountable to safeguard loans processed meet the client’s expectations and results.
Reviews and screens SBA loan files for underwriting and compliance problems.
Prepares and analyzes loan packages with respect to program guidelines and performs applicable due diligence.
Recommends procedures to maintain accurate processing of loans Reviews files and remediates exceptions.
Functions as a business partner for between ALL bank employees and the SBA group.
Accountable to prospects for clients and bring in new business.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications - This position requires the following:
3+ yrs. experience with commercial and small business lending, credit analysis, familiarity with credit/compliance policies and procedures, loan analysis or other directly related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or an associated field.
Banking or Finance experience a plus.
Working acquaintance of commercial and small business lending, loan documentation, lending regulations, requirements and familiarity with audit/review procedures.
Must have robust analysis and credit review skills.
Capacity to work with lending staff and meet with clients to resolve issues.
Robust communication and client relations skills.
Acquaintance with PC software to include Microsoft Office or similar software.
Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
