JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Epic Phoenix Analyst resource to assist in design, build and implementation of system features.

Data conversion from multiple sources into Phoenix Implementation of the Transplant checklist, problem list, and therapy plans decision support features based on results from outside institutions reporting to UNOS and importing data from Donor Net verification and documentation of organ and donor ABO and UNOS ID in the surgical record Implement system functional to improve the current transplant billing process. Mapping of HLA discrete results for comparison of donor and recipient HLA data.

The Phoenix Senior Analyst resources should be able to:

 1. Act independently under general supervision

2. Able to build system components, perform testing and implementation support

3. Able to document and compile information in a build tracker and organize it for move through various Epic Environments

4. Work closely with other analysts, Epic implementation team, operations and vendors to ensure that project deliverables are met

5. Identify best practices and opportunities for standardization

6. Knowledge transfer to UAMS resources for system continuity

KEY DELIVERABLES

 1. Create and document build in the Phoenix build tracker clearly and completely

2. Data conversion and validation

3. Develop and execute Phoenix test scripts

4. Create reporting workbench dashboards, CMS reports, UNOS extract and imports

5. Use of MS Project to record task progress on a timely basis for report out to project leadership

Implement Epic Phoenix, a transplant specific application that uses EpicCare Ambulatory as it’s foundation to provide transplant specific documentation,

Reporting and surveillance tools for monitoring transplant patients.

Current Ambulatory tools are not sufficient for the overall tracking of patients from pre-transplant through evaluation, Transplant and post- transplant monitoring. Mandatory reports are being compiled manually which is labor intensive and error prone. Patient information including test results can be organized in a synopsis view in Phoenix and are automatically updated when additional documentation, orders and result are placed in Epic.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires BS degree and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience.

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
