JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting entry level position in forensic accounting that would suit someone looking for something a bit different.  This is very much a personality driven role and you will be liaising and meeting a variety of stakeholders and giving advice on matters. 

You will be joining a leading firm that provides a range of specialist services including: business interruption - insurance claims, forensic accounting, economic loss quantification and financial analysis.

The role will involve, but will not be limited to: - 

• Collating, analysing and challenging information provided in support of claims
• Undertaking financial analysis for quantification of damages/losses
• Preparing, negotiating and settling material damage & business interruption claims from natural disasters, fires and theft etc.
• Communication and liaison with clients, lawyers, insurance companies and experts.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful: -
We are looking for people who enjoy meeting people, have sound accounting skills who are happy to travel on business domestically and occasionally internationally.

• Ideally part CA/CPA qualified or just about to start.  
• Have between 2-3 years accounting experience within Australia.
• High level of spoken and written English as you will be trained to write reports that may end up in Court and to provide evidence in Court.
• Good attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• If you have any legal experience this would also stand you in good stead.

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
