Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Lake Placid, NY
located in the beautiful Adirondack Region of New York State
Monday - Friday Days
This is a fill time position with full benefits (health/dental/etc.)
The Director of Rehabilitation will oversee: 1 PT, 1 PTA, 1 OT, 1 OTA, 1 SLP
Depending on experience, this position has the opportunity to be promoted to a more regional role overseeing two other facilities in the region later this year.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Daily management of RUG categories and patient scheduling.
- Coordinate weekly discharge planning meeting with rehab team to include monitoring of patient functional levels, goals, and end of therapy projections.
- Prepare and submit Therapy Services Forecast Tool monthly to corporate Director of Rehabilitation projecting staffing needs, caseload targets, and earned revenue potential.
- Coordinate monthly rehab team meeting to facilitate program development, review of financials/productivity, and to address employee concerns.
- Participate in Marketing and program development initiatives in conjunction with Community Relations Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of MS in Physical or Occupational Therapy
- NYS Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist License in good standing
- Previous Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
- Proven Management skills
Education:
University - Master's Degree
