Overview

The Senior Credit Analyst provides in-depth analytical support for bank mission critical commercial banking operations; including spreading and analysis of existing clients and prospects.        

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Vital Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provides additional loan agreement and covenant monitoring support to commercial lending groups.
2. Provides on-going portfolio management through spreading of continuous required financial statements as they are received from the Bank’s customers.
3. Develops an in-depth understanding of various types of lending facilities as well as a variety of companies and industries.
4. Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of compulsory compliance training.
5. Provides support to loan officers and managers through financial statement spreading and analysis of new loan requests and standing credit relationships.
6. Concludes cash flow models for the basis of credit decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Opportunity Minumum Qualifications: 

1. Capacity to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
2. Robust analytical and organizational skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
5. Capacity to solve practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Capacity to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
6. Capacity to manage multiple projects.
7. BS/BA Degree in Business, Finance or a related field is required.
8. Four or more years’ financial industry experience preferred.

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
