This is a exciting opportunity to join our client's expanding Corporate Risk Platform as an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst within their Enterprise Risk function.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position provides mission vital oversight within Risk and partners across numerous groups to identify, evaluate, and mitigate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) tasks or issues and report on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) key risks. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Position will represent ER on projects that present new products, features and services to the bank and its clients with responsibilities for safeguarding that suitable Enterprise Risk Management challenge mitigation is included.
  2. Builds and preserves effective partnerships with points of contact within and external to EFRM.
  3. Business Change Risk Assessments (BCRA):
    • Position will be accountable for execution of Risk and Compliance Specialist reviews of proposed corporate changes which may have an Enterprise Risk Management issues risk impact.
  4. Serves as a functional liaison between EFRM and additional 2ND Line of Defense associates.
  5. Engages business line stakeholders to understand/address issues and promote control awareness.
  6. Delivers back-up support to other risk management team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience 
  2. Two or more years of experience in a relevant risk management environment 
  3. Applicable professional certifications 
  4. Risk management background (examples: operational, credit, compliance) or similar experience within a highly regulated industry and a large, dynamic organization
  5. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  6. Capability to quickly understand and assess process changes
  7. Polished written and verbal communications skills
  8. Advanced degree or professional license (Examples include but are not limited to: MBA, JD, CFSA, CIA, CFA, CPA or CFE)
  9. Acquaintance and experience of the industry, products, policies, operations, systems, and procedures
  10. Knowledge of Risk/Audit/Compliance aptitudes

 

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
