The role and team:

Our product has a complex backend made up of multiple components responsible for the platform API, real-time data pipelines and an automated analysis framework. These components are typically implemented in Python 3 or C++14 depending on performance requirements.

What you’ll do:

As a senior developer specialising in our platform backend, you will be responsible for implementing new features in a variety of components. These include:

  • Providing new ways for external components to interact with the platform
  • Adding new functionality to the analysis framework to help simplify and speed up the implementation of analytics
  • Adding support for new sources of data for use by the automated analysis components
  • Implementing integrations with third-party applications

Depending on your skills and experience, you will be primarily working in either Python or C++.

We take automated testing very seriously. This means writing comprehensive automated tests for your code that will run in our continuous integration and continuous deployment systems.




What you’ll need:

  • Good communication, both written and verbal
  • Extensive Python 3 experience
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience and knowledge of automated testing principles and frameworks
  • Strong familiarity with Linux environments and the Linux command-line

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in a cyber security-related field
  • C++ experience
