For over 100 years, our client has been a recognized name in agriculture on a global scale.   They have three locations in Saskatchewan and are planning to expand into new territories in the near future.
 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Their Saskatoon location requires a Branch/Sales Manager.  In this role you would be responsible for business results including:

  • Sales growth and customer service attitude in the parts department
  • Sales growth and timely turnaround in the service departments
  • Build and develop a team in a flexible and functional branch; hiring, training, developing, and appraising staff with support from GM and Corporate HR
  • Establish processes to support sales of new and used machinery, parts, service, and administration
  • Maintain consistency in branding and corporate identity

QUALIFICATIONS

 

The Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities identified for success include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Ag Economics, or related field/industry experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience running and growing retail operations within a relevant industry sector
  • Advanced experience in team supervision/management - including training and staff development; a leader
  • Excellent sales skills supported by strong networking and negotiation skills; ability to persuade and influence
  • Proven ability to successfully launch new product lines into the market
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines; able to handle stress professionally and with patience
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements/reports
  • Ability to travel; including overnight, weekend, or evening during peak seasons
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Willingness to be coached, mentored, and developed
