Scope: You’ll support a dynamic insurance carrier that has a growing history and a global footprint. You’ll act as a trusted part of the Audit team and right hand to the General Auditor as you help to build out the rest of the audit group. This carrier has traditionally relied on co-sourcing partners for their internal controls but is now transitioning all of this in house. You'll be directly involved in applying your audit expertise in an internal controls environment while building relationships across functional areas and interacting with outside audit partners. There is VERY limited travel.

 

Relevant Experiences and Successes: You should be able to effectively forward face Senior Management, your team and all functional areas of the organization in a proactive, dynamic manner and have a well-grounded audit background which should include public accounting experience.  This role is definitely appropriate for a manager in public who is looking to make a transition to private for the right situation. You should have strong successes and be comfortable in a mid-sized environment where you get involved in all parts of supporting this successful, growing carrier.

The Client: The client is a $1.5BB global carrier with a track record of success, solid ratings and a strong combined ratio. The client is located in CT and is a VERY easy commute from Manhattan.

Compensation:  Compensation is open.  There is an open role available for this Lead Audit Manager and for a Senior Auditor.
