Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will see you utilising your networks and business development capabilities to increase market share through growth.

The successful candidate will achieve budgeted sales targets, profit objectives, sales execution standards and outstanding customer service through the promotion of aerial data capture solutions with a specialist range of drones used in power and utilities, construction, mining, defence, agriculture and more.
Reaching out to prospective and existing clients across Australia and New Zealand, you will be responsible for evaluating client needs, in addition to devising and proposing solutions, both preexisting
and bespoke.

Generate new leads and develop business opportunities within Australia and New Zealand
- Progress and convert existing leads from our considerable inbound pipeline
- Initiate contact with and propose solutions across a range of industries
- Develop and implement marketing plans, action plans and develop a sales pipeline
- Meet with clients to present/discuss new and existing products
- Managing existing client relationships by strategic engagement
- Create presentations, proposals, tenders and quotes
- Assist in development of solution designs as per client specifications
- Build extensive product knowledge along with related solutions
- Attend training both locally and overseas
- Key involvement at exhibitions and industry events
- Update and maintain records within the CRM database
- Develop relationships with prospective partners

QUALIFICATIONS

You will Bring:

Proven experience in a solution-based business development or sales position (a minimum of five years’ experience in B2B sales)
- Science, engineering, other technical qualification or significant technical sales experience
- A genuine interest and ability to understand a range of technical concepts and applications related to data capturing and drones
- Ability to converse with scientists, engineers and other technical professionals
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to form strong ongoing relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise have the right to work in Australia
- Based in Sydney-Ability to relocate if required

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
