Our client is a well established and growing FMCG manufacturer. They are looking for 2 Maintenance Electricians to join their team. 

12 hour shifts, 6 to 6. Monday to Saturday shift roster. Penalty rates apply for Saturday.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a well established and growing FMCG manufacturer. They are looking for 2 Maintenance Electricians to join their team. 12 hour shifts, 6 to 6. Monday to Saturday shift roster. Penalty rates apply for Saturday.

As the Maintenance Electrician you will perform:

• Electrical Maintenance to Plant and Equipment
• Adjustments and repairs
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance work.
• Solving technical problems 
• Decommissioning of old equipment and installation of new.
• Filling out maintenance records.

In order to be considered you will have a:

• Valid Electrical Trade (TAFE or Australian equivalent)
• Manufacturing experience with a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of PLC's and VSD's.
• Read and interpret Schematics and Drawings
• Initiative and the desire to learn, with the ability to ask questions
• Experience with medium to fast filling lines is essential

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Electrical Trade (TAFE or Australian equivalent)
• Manufacturing experience with a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of PLC's and VSD's.
