JOB DESCRIPTION

Open and relentless communication is key….able to listen to ideas, opinions and motivate others to accept changes.  These are long time team members who are valued for their skills and expertise but who are struggling to learn new lean techniques and assembly methods.

Supervise 10 direct team members through 3 team leaders located on three shifts.

Will own product over 24 hour 5 day a week mechanical assembly operation.

Implement and train team in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing systems techniques including KANBAN, Poke Yoke fixtures, and Pull systems to improve SOP.

Communicating job expectations, planning and monitoring work, appraising job results and managing an assigned workforce.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Growth in product demand as well as investment in upgrading facilities and infrastructure has created expansion and need for Team Leader with success in building teams fully participating in lean manufacturing, 6s, SMED and continuous improvement initiatives for a uninterrupted flow production environment. Will report to a truly dynamic Operations Manager who has track record improving production, implementing lean strategies. Looking to groom for succession planning.

BS and minimum of five years supervising multiple step assembly  of mechanical and/or plastic products.

 

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
