JOB DESCRIPTION

• The circulating nurse acts as the patient advocate while the patient is under the influence of anesthesia.
• The Nurse Circulator ensures safety of patient within the period of operation.
• The circulating nurse works by collaborating with other members of the team including the anesthesiologist, surgeon, surgical technologist, surgical assistant, and other personnel.
•  Render expert pre-, intra- and post-operative nursing service. 
• Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient
• Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens )
• Observes and enforces strict standards of asepsis
• Observes, checks and monitors all equipment used during surgery to confirm they are running smoothly
• Handles patient documentation Inventories all items both pre- and post-surgery

About the Job:-

Seeking an OR RN Circulator. Preferred CNOR license and must be willing to be on call

General certifications

• BLS/BCLS
• ACLS
• PALS
