JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance is responsible for:

• Analyzing and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
• Clearly communicating monthly and annual financial statements to Management and the Board of Directors
• Preparing short and long-term financial forecasts such as profit and loss statements and cash flow projections for use by internal management and external parties
• Overseeing the audit and tax functions as well as coordinating activities with outside audit firms
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting and administrative policies and procedures for financial accounting and reporting
• Ensuring that the billing and collections schedules are adhered to and that the financial data and cash flow are steady and support the operational requirements
• Leading the annual budgeting and planning process
• Reviewing all financials plans and budgets and monitoring the progress and changes while keeping senior leadership team well-informed of the financial status

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters/Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional Accounting Designation
• Five to seven years of management experience, preferably in the consumer product or manufacturing industry
• Expertise in Excel and/or SAP
• Possesses the utmost integrity, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong desire to be a part of a vibrant, growing company

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
