Other money center banks, FinTech, and third party Payment Providers
Area of focus will be partnerships with the bank's divisions and business areas, new business model development, and FinTech Opportunities in the Corporate Cash Management space, and on an ad-hock basis, other Global Treasury business lines where required
Lead a portfolio of initiatives and technology concepts that vary in scale and complexity, with mixed resource virtual teams
Work with internal teams of Digital Market Management and Implementation & Execution to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for Proof of Concepts
Be the champion of communication for the project - in regular contact with internal and external partners engaged in designing and delivering our product.
Encourage and facilitate collaboration and innovation. Set up projects through an established ideation methodology
Work with corporate client’s, third party technology firms, industry consortia and the bank's suppliers to jointly scope, manage and deliver new solutions
Use lean start-up management methodology to fast-track product development and deployment
At each phase of the project, analyse and asses the likelihoods of success of ideas and iteratively improve and re-prioritize
Assess the monetization potential and financial impact of changes and communicate to clients as appropriate.
Drive business and investment case development
Be firm but strategic in judgement: push back and stop projects when scope creep or
expected client value is not realistic whilst understanding the constraints and impacts on the client. Be prepared and able to defend the Bank's position and profit margin internally and externally.
Understand the key technical aspects of the development process
Be seen as a focus of corporate and industry foresight and digitization and a key
person whose opinion and advice on project delivery is actively sought by clients and
senior CCM management
Be able to confidently communicate with clients independently
Make the quality of the ideas and concept your responsibility; you will see every
stage of the work from start to finish and are essential in ensuring consistent quality and the Bank's standards are adhered to.
Experience & Skills required
BA/MA Degree in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative disciplines preferred, but not required if practical experience in the “digital space” is sufficient and proven
7-10 years of experience in digital banking, financial technology, product design, development and deployment or consulting
Experience in using a wide range of innovation management tools and methodologies
Experience in a large organization environment
Highly proficient with PowerPoint, excel and collaboration tools
Broad experience in project management models and their application to different
projects, including Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
