Provides direction, development and leadership to coordinate plant activities through the departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
Evaluate, recommend and implement changes and/or upgrades: capital equipment, staffing levels, procedures, and other business operations; Take full responsibility over annual budgets & forecasts.
Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
Work with the director and VP to develop short and long range business strategies.
Communicate business goals and objectives to all levels of staff.
Assess the plant's performance related to meeting company goals: operations metrics, finance, quality, and safety.
Must have worked as a Plant Manager in facility manufacturing flexible film. Must have a 4 year degree
