A fast-growing US company specializes in modern design and manufacturer of Audio visual, Kitchen appliances and electrical products for USA and European markets.
The Job holder reports to COO & CTO, works with Head of Quality and Technical Operations
Overall responsibility and accountability for optimization, implementation and successful management for all aspects of the operations for Guangzhou office efficiency and quality standard.
Plan, coordinate and lead the operation.
Ensures resource optimization, standardization and optimization of best common processes and practices within the Region/Division.
Analyze and implement process flow improvements, to include capabilities for growth.
Develop and oversee implementation and administration of department policies, systems, and procedures.
Optimize, implement and successfully manage product development efficiency and quality standard.
Provide leadership which facilitates accomplishment of objective by ensuring support systems and practices are in place to provide all employees the opportunity to contribute to their full potential by identifying and eliminating the obstacles and barriers which prevent this from occurring.
Determines optimum staffing model for the department.
Review and maintain control of budgetary requirements, schedules and commitments, to ensure effective operations.
Implements cost reduction and benchmarking proposals according to customer and the company’s Corporation targets.
Responsible for the projects follow-up ensuring customer expectations.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by direct superior for the achievement of departmental goals.
In all areas of responsibilities, the incumbent is responsible in maintaining the highest level of integrity in its business dealings with associates, people and organizations wherever we operate to its highest ethical standards.
Report on engineering activities regularly to the management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators.
Bachelor Degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing or related subject;
+15 years working experience in the automotive electronics, household electrical appliances or related electrical original design manufacture;
Multiple companies operations experience;
Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin & English is a must;
Solid experience in Operations, Supplier Development and Supply Chain management;
Excellent Service Delivery/Service Management/Logistics management experience and ability to drive things to completion for a successful operational outcome;
Strong ability in managing and coordinating with employees at all levels;
Extensive knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies is preferred;
Detailed experience of ERP systems, and MS tools;
Result-oriented, self-motivated professional with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;
Good knowledge of international business organization;
A leader with excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
Willingness to travel.
