Provides financial planning and analysis support for client's Legal Operations.  This position supports multiple levels of management including DVP’s throughout the organization. Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and planning information.  Responsible for providing meaningful analysis to leadership to enable effective decision making on how to spend budget dollars.  Organizes priorities and ensures the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of all financial information. Serves as subject matter expert for assigned business area(s) and can speak to results during financial review meetings with leadership.  This position reports into Corporate Finance, to a Senior Manager Strategic Financial Planning.

Additional Main Responsibilities 

Performs financial planning and analysis activities for assigned business area(s).

Serves as internal liaison and primary finance support to facilitate completion of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.  Assists with input to the strategic plan process.

Partners with business area leader and budget owners to fulfill reporting requirements.  Includes, but not limited to:

  • Operational expense reporting
  • Project reporting
  • Variance reporting (actuals versus budget)


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance,

5-7 years of related work experience. CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Minimum Experience / Qualifications

Knowledge and application of financial planning and accounting concepts, procedures and practices. Experience with SAP and Hyperion preferred.  

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
