Our client are a well regarded and established accounting firm located within the North Eastern suburbs and for the past 50 years and involved in the area of financial planning for over 30 years. They understand and recognise the importance of ensuring their clients can access high quality financial advice.

They provide their vast clientele with taxation services, Business Management and SMSF solutions and under the guidance of the partner group, they provide clients with the personal financial advice to help them achieve their financial and lifestyle goals. 
  
About the Role
The position is a Partnership role aimed at developing, maintaining and fostering relationships with clients. You will form an integral part of the firm’s growth and longevity plans and will work alongside the other partners to conceptualise ideas and take the business to where it can go.
  
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be mentored and work alongside a newer partner and an exiting partner and also have the opportunity to be a non-equity partner or an equity partner.
 
Duties include:

  • Ability to build new and transition existing relationships
  • Help drive growth, create efficiencies and set company direction
  • A proven track record leading and developing staff, and help them develop strong client partnerships 
  • Be CPA qualified with a minimum of 15 years accounting experience.
  • Developing Business would be an advantage
  • Ability to review and co-ordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of effective, financial, budgeting, accounting reporting and related information across the organisation
  • Prepare realistic budgets and forecasts submitted on an ongoing basis.
  • Initiate and undertake projects to add value/reduce costs for the organisation.

 Skills and Experience

  • Be CPA qualified with a minimum of 15 years accounting experience.
  • A strong technical background in either business services, taxation or audit 
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to participate at a senior level within a team environment 
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients
  • Team management experience, capability to coach, mentor and develop team members
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
