We are looking for an Account Executive, Field Sales to sell Indirect Tax Solutions. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for a given territory to achieve a revenue target through new business sales of Software solutions
  • Selling indirect tax solutions to small business/medium corporations – basically corporations under 500 million.
  • You will be cold calling and hunting for new business
  • This is a consultative sales process - selling on value
  • You will need to be able to handle multiple sales cycles in various stages in parallel
  • Respond to Prospect RFIs and RFPs
  • Demonstrate the use of products, emphasizing product value based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities
  • Maintain your working knowledge of company products, special sales programs and marketing efforts within the sales division.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com, ACT, Hoovers, and other tools to develop leads
  • Negotiate sales contracts

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • Have a bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years+ experience in experience in consultative sales, closing complex software and services sales
  • Knowledge in accounting/tax acumen is a plus
  • Have a strong track record of achieving sales targets year over year
  • Experience working with legal on contract terms and conditions
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, Act, or similar software
  • Experience with sales forecasting
  • Experience with negotiations within set parameters
  • Comfortable with deadlines
  • Experience with small and large group product demonstrations and other presentations
