JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a well-established Chartered Accounting firm based in the heart of Perth’s CBD. They offer a full range of accounting services to a diverse and quality client base. They are looking to expand their energetic and vibrant team with an experienced Intermediate Accountant for the Tax who is ideally CA Qualified or at least on their way in the program. This position is a full time permanent role and is available to start immediately after the Xmas break.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements 
• Ensure appropriate account control procedures
• Prepare individual, partnership, trust and company tax returns
• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of business activity statements for various business structures
• Research on tax related matters

 The skills and experience required:

• CA Qualified or nearing completion
• 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience is essential
• Ability to prepare and present internal technical training sessions
• Exceptional planning and organisational skills
• Able to take responsibility and be accountable
• Possess a proactive and professional attitude
• Friendly sociable person
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal

QUALIFICATIONS

• CA Qualified or nearing completion
• 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience is essential

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
