This dynamic role based ideally in Irvine, California, will see you work closely with a business as they transition some MRO structure from a recent acquisition for a global MRO operation. The role will work closely with the existing MRO facility based in Mexicali, other Service Centres in Europe and Asia and interact closely with the Head Office in Australia. The business also has line fit capability in Europe and the US and will also work closely with the Airline Services Finance Analyst who will support with pricing and asset management guides for sales proposals.

Reporting to and working closely with the VP Airlines Services, MRO this role will have responsibility for building out the sales support team in Mexicali and material management across inventory management and forecasting. This will be vital to plan inventory and provide the Supply Chain & Manufacturing stream with a forecast for future demand. You will also work with Finance in relation to the optimisation of pricing on Aftermarket Product and Service. Contact with key suppliers will also be important to ensure the most cost effective but relevant support for customers and management of legacy programs.

Experience in a similar Commercial Aftermarket or Asset Management role within an MRO organisation is sought. You will have a good knowledge of the industry including suppliers, and skill in ideally supporting IFE products, and been involved in a global network of repair centres. Skill in supporting customers with legacy contracts and obsolescence will also be advantageous. This is a pivotal role dealing with a range of stakeholders across in various time zones.
