JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be working for a well-established Global SaaS vendor, with start-up offices in Sydney CBD, that specialise in managing corporate client data securely and in line with regulations & compliance. This company has been working in Sydney since January 2018 and due to fantastic growth, they need a person to support the Sales team with Lead Generation and Qualification as well as some marketing activity and attendance at corporate events and trade shows.

You will also be responsible for managing some of the smaller clients who have already signed up with the company so strong client relationship management skills are also required.

Reporting to a Regional Sales Director you will be responsible for corporate lead generation & qualification by working with global marketing teams to ensure all marketing literature is suitable for the ANZ region. You will be assisting in creating relevant marketing material as well as event management and attendance at corporate events as a product specialist.

You will also be responsible for qualifying leads on the phone and creating appointments for the Sales Team that have been generated by the marketing activity within the business. In addition, you will account manage SMB accounts on a day-to-day basis.

As this is a small office you will need the initiative and self-motivation to work on your own in a serviced office, when the Sales Team are out meeting clients.

The role:

  • Undertake learning & training to understand the SaaS solutions on offer
  • Work with global marketing teams to assist in the generation of online and digital marketing material relevant to the ANZ market that will generate leads from clients
  • Work with the global marketing team and local sales team to ensure effective communication with clients that will generate leads
  • Work with the sales team to build lead generation scripts
  • Outbound phone calling for qualification of leads, achieving KPI’s and targets
  • Appointment setting for the sales team, achieving KPI’s and targets
  • B2B Client relationship management which includes attendance at client meetings
  • SMB Account Management
  • Dealing with pre & post sales enquiries
  • Liaison with internal global stakeholders for the benefit of the ANZ business based in Sydney
  • Develop into a product specialist and evangelist
  • Attending trade events for the promotion of the product & company

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you must have the following essential criteria:

  • A Graduate with a degree in Business &/or Marketing
  • Some experience making outbound phone calls with B2B clients
  • The willingness to be involved with marketing & communication with B2B clients
  • Experience working with KPI’s and targets in a sales driven environment
  • An interest in or experience gained in a SaaS or software environment would be preferable
  • An interest in Financial Services &/or Professional Services is preferred
  • A mature attitude with the self-motivation, initiative and confidence to work on your own at times
  • The ability to manage change in a fast-growing start-up environment
  • Flexibility – a willingness to turn your hands to anything required to make the business successful
  • A passport as attendance for training and sales kick-offs overseas is required!

This role would suit either a recent Graduate with a degree in Business &/or Marketing with some work experience, who is hungry and driven to learn and succeed or a candidate with a bit more work experience, ideally gained in lead generation & qualification looking to be involved in a start-up business where you can make the job your own!
