JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Toronto client is part of an international company developing and selling biological kits/ detection systems for human medical disorders. Most of these detection kits run on automated lab equipment, controlled by IT software and hardware.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform installation, maintenance and repair for automated laboratory instruments.
Responsible for IT related issues, data integration for both existing and newly developed middleware & application software, etc.
On-site support.
Reply to technical information requests from clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIREMENTS:
Computer Science or Applied Mathematics/Biology(Option) degree required.
New grads welcome.
Laboratory experience is strong asset.
IT software and hardware literacy essential.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Responsible, reliable and team oriented.
The position is based in Mississauga, ON (Head office).
May require up to 40% travel throughout Canada.
