JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an innovative, talented, technology-forward leader who will drive the implementation playbook for IoT medical capabilities. If you are entrepreneurial and like challenging status-quo, you’ll love this environment and job. In this role you’ll drive new large-scale projects across a global organization, driving IoMT (Medical Things) development strategy, architecture, and delivery. You’ll craft data models that will create “digital twin” of medical devices that are around the world ($5+ Billion division).

QUALIFICATIONS

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Advanced Degree strongly preferred)
  • 8+ years’ experience in Azure IoT in large global volume (1000+ devices preferred) – working with Azure IoT Hub and Bulk Device Provisioning Services within a multi-tenanted architecture is required
  • Must have experience in software cloud and device development
  • Ability to determine IoMT needs, help prioritize investments, develop use cases, generate UML diagrams, and develop overall solution requirements including application definition, integration, security, and system configurations 
  • Skill crafting data models representing digital twins of devices
  • Ability to drive OTA (over the air) software and firmware upgrade capabilities of medical devices 
  • Be the domain expert in communication protocols, for example: IoMT Protocols: MQTT and AMQP 
  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams to identify telemetry data ingestion strategy taking into account computing power and the business value of the data
  • Lead teams, manage Agile SCRUM units and launch innovative solutions following software development processes
  • Deep understanding of Azure Event Hub, Stream analytics, consumer groups, messaging rate leveling, eventually consistent systems is required 
  • Experience with the development and large-scale production management of Azure IoT edge runtime, kubernetes, and containers models is required
  • Ability to debug application protocols at TCP/UDP level for device to edge communications is required
  • Domain expertise in base Azure services such as Key Vault, Redis, Traffic Manager, ASA, TSI, SQL Azure or other cloud RDBMS, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, API Management is required
  • Experience with analytics toolsets like PowerBI, Azure Analytics services is preferred
  • Knowledge of AI, cognitive services, and big data analysis at the edge is preferred

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
